Highlighting a great website!
The Primary Industries Education Foundation Australia’s (PIEFA) vision is to embed the value of Australian food and fibre production in the national psyche – and they aim to achieve this with a range of classroom resources, eLearning courses, Farmer Time sessions and agriculture career pathways.
For Educators: Access free, curriculum-aligned educational resources to teach students about where their food and fibre come from. Although these are targeted for school students, they could be contextualised and use for TAFE qualifications as well.
For career practitioners: You can filter their catalogue to access career resources. Some of their videos and curriculum resources also are great in creating more awareness of jobs within the agricultural sector.
