A new generation of young Western Australians is getting a hands-on taste of the meat industry, with six students from Perth metropolitan schools now well into their second term of the AMP20117 Certificate II in Meat Processing (Food Services) through South Metropolitan TAFE. Welcome to our first edition of Nimble News for 2026 - 7 January 2026
Happy New Year!! We are back and looking forward to a busy and fruitful 2026! Our vision (and always will be) is for our industries to have a workforce development environment that encourages growth and innovation for today and for the future! We already have a plan of activities for 2026 to help us towards our vision. End of Year Wrap-Up for 2025: Reflecting on Our Achievements
This is our last Nimble News for the year. We’ve been reflecting on the past 12 months, which seems to have flown by. We’ve put together a summary of what industry has been telling us about their workforce issues. We also highlight the activities we've undertaken to alleviate these challenges.
