Handy Links, resources and other helpful stuff!!
Over the past year or so, we’ve been trying to populate the FFTITC Website with lots of Handy Links/Resources and other information so that our stakeholders can quickly find stuff!! We realise that everyone is busy and possibly not able to go and do the research. Also, we get a lot of information through our office and a lot of it is extremely valuable (or at least we think it is).
So, this is what we have (BTW - there is still room for improvement).
Apprenticeships
We have useful websites and resources that help potential employers navigate the apprenticeship arena.
Workforce Planning
There is information that explains what Workforce Planning is as well as websites that have useful information and templates such as a Training Needs Analysis.
Young People/Career Development
Lots of useful websites for employers, career practitioners, job seekers as well as documents such as the Australian Blueprint for Career Development.
Skills, Training and Qualifications
Information to help navigate the VET System, and how handy links and websites to help locate qualifications.
Industry Information
Websites that have labour force and occupational data as well as a list of industry associations and a document that outlines skill shortages vs labour shortages – an explanation.
If you have other resources that you also think are helpful, please don’t hesitate to send it through. We can also distribute it through our Nimble News and social media. Please send to admin@fftitc.com.au. Also, if you want to talk about any of the above, please contact our CEO Tony at Tony@fftitc.com.au
