Over the past year, we've been working hard to populate the FFTITC Website with a variety of handy links, resources, and information. Our goal goal is to help our stakeholders quickly find what they need. I know everyone is busy and may not have time to do the research themselves. Plus, we receive a lot of valuable information through our office that I believe can benefit you.

Apprenticeships

We offer useful websites and resources that guide potential employers through the apprenticeship landscape. Navigating this area can be challenging, but we aim to simplify it for you.

Workforce Planning

Understanding workforce planning is crucial. We provide information that explains what it is, along with websites that offer useful templates, such as a Training Needs Analysis. This can help you assess your workforce requirements effectively.

Young People and Career Development

There are many resources available for employers, career practitioners, and job seekers. Documents like the Australian Blueprint for Career Development can be particularly helpful. These resources aim to support young people in their career journeys.

Skills, Training, and Qualifications

Navigating the VET system can be daunting. We have compiled information to help you find qualifications and understand the training landscape better. This can assist you in making informed decisions about skills and training.

Industry Information

We provide access to websites that feature labour force and occupational data. Additionally, you can find a list of industry associations and documents that explain the differences between skill shortages and labour shortages. Understanding these concepts is vital for effective workforce planning.

If you have other resources that you think are helpful, please don’t hesitate to send them my way. I can also share them through our Nimble News and social media. Please send your suggestions to admin@fftitc.com.au. If you want to discuss any of the above topics, feel free to contact our CEO Tony at Tony@fftitc.com.au.
