UPCOMING FORUM - Career Pathway for Trial Plot Technicians
- 2 days ago
- 2 min read

The meeting will focus on identifying suitable training content for Trial Plot Technicians, including the skills, knowledge, and practical capabilities required for the role. We will consider both on-the-job and off-the-job training options, and discuss the types of training that would best support entry into, and progression within, this occupation.
A private Registered Training Organisation (RTO) will also be in attendance to help guide discussion around how the identified training content may align with relevant units of competency, qualifications, or skill sets.
To support the discussion, please bring along any relevant materials, including job descriptions, job advertisements, and examples of training undertaken in the workplace. This may include formal or informal training, such as workshops, information sessions, internal workplace training, or training known to have been undertaken by employers prior to employment.
The meeting will also provide an opportunity to review and discuss the draft Trial Plot Technician occupational profile, with the aim of producing a final version for distribution to job seekers, students, training providers, and other relevant stakeholders.
