Reminder:  Irrigation  Technology Training in WA – Industry Forum & Roundtable - Wednesday 1 April 2026

If you’re an employer, contractor, trainer, supplier, or industry  representative working in irrigation technology, you are invited to our Forum.  Discussions will explore current workforce challenges and identify practical, industry-led solutions for strengthening WA’s Irrigation Technology workforce.

Agricultural students from seven regional colleges and schools have been recognised as the state’s top work health and safety students through WorkSafe’s Agriculture Youth Safety Awards.


The awards are part of the Agriculture Youth Education Program which saw WorkSafe inspectors present to around 800 students and inspect grounds and facilities at the agricultural colleges and farm schools.


The Australian Fashion Council (AFC) and R.M.Williams recently launched the National Manufacturing Strategy for Australian Fashion and Textiles 2026 - 2036 at Parliament House in Canberra - The ten-year Strategy  is the first industry-backed national roadmap to rebuild targeted domestic manufacturing capability across Australia's textile, clothing and footwear (TCF) sector

Animal welfare grants of up to $50,000 have been awarded to 33 recipients across the State as part of the Cook Government's ongoing commitment to supporting the care and wellbeing of pets and wildlife in need.


The Innovation Booster Grant backs early-stage founders, innovation-driven SMEs, and startups in Western Australia to strengthen capability and commercialise innovative projects. Applications close on Monday 30 March 2026, 4pm (AWST)

Builders, Designers, Timber Suppliers and Manufacturers are invited to the launch of Perth’s Timber Construction Playbook.  A new WoodSolutions resource has been developed specifically for the WA market, providing practical guidance for confidently delivering timber residential projects.  Launch Fraser’s Kings Park 27 March 2026.


This funding supports initiatives that provide sustainable, tangible and long-term benefits with positive outcomes for Australian rural, regional and remote communities. In turn this builds capacity, longevity, livability and connection in the regions in which we operate.  Submissions are now being accepted. Submissions close at 5:00PM 21 May 2026 (ACST).
