National Farmers Federation's AgCAREERSTART is a future-focused industry program that engages with the next generation of agricultural workers.

AgCAREERSTART is a 10-12 month gap year program to kick-start young Australian's Careers in Agriculture.

It is a great opportunity for the industry to attract a new cohort of young Australians to experience farm life and all it has to offer as a career pathway.

We need

Passionate host producers to provide the employment opportunity
Enthusiastic young people willing to learn more about agriculture

The AgCAREERSTART team works with employers to identify suitable applicants for a placement in their business and will continue to support the host employer through the entire 10-12 month journey on-farm.

The program also has a dedicated 24/7 support team for participants. The AgCAREERSTART team are always on hand and there is a dedicated text and phone line so participants can get in touch if they need to.

Plus all participants gain access to a $4500 Training and Engagement Bursary!
