FFTTIC Board Welcomes Newly Elected Director Dr. Alex-Kate Langfield

In December, The Food, Fibre and Timber Industries Training Council (WA) Inc. welcomed Dr Alex-Kate Langfield to its Board of Directors. Dr Langfield is representing the Animal Care and Management sector.

Dr Langfield is a highly experienced veterinarian and biosecurity expert with expertise in veterinary consultancy, policy development, emergency animal disease response, and stakeholder engagement between government and industry.

She currently is Managing Director and Senior Veterinarian with Hatch House Australia Pty Ltd. Hatch House is a veterinary consultancy delivering expert biosecurity, animal health management, training and upskilling, and welfare advisory services across the poultry industry.

Alex-Kate is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors as well as a Scientific Committee member of the Poultry Information Exchange and Australasian Veterinary Poultry Association.
